Johann Rieperdinger

Johann Rieperdinger (* 1856 in Wasserburg am Inn ; full name: Johann Baptist Rieperdinger ) was a German architect .

Rieperdinger came from a highly respected family of carpenters and builders. His father was the master carpenter Johann Baptist Rieperdinger, who was based in Wasserburg and carried out extensive construction work there. For example, he had rebuilt at least 84 roofs in Wasserburg alone between 1887 and 1903. Johann Baptist Rieperdinger, born in 1856, studied structural engineering in Munich . In 1881 he opened an architecture office in the capital of the Kingdom of Bavaria. He worked mainly in and around Wasserburg, where he a. a. was responsible for the restoration of the town hall, which fell victim to the town fire of 1874.
