Johann "Hans" Seelos (born September 28, 1914 in Seefeld in Tirol , † April 18, 1945 in Yugoslavia ) was an Austrian ski racer . He was the younger brother of Anton Seelos .

After good performance in the junior division, he achieved his first successes at the races in Garmisch-Partenkirchen in 1933 , where he achieved fourth place in downhill and combined. He celebrated his first victories in 1935 in the descent on the Glungezer and in the combination at the races for the Golden Ring in Seefeld. A year later he won the downhill in Seefeld and came second in the combination; he also won the slalom on Hafelekar . At the prestigious Arlberg-Kandahar races in St. Anton he was able to place in the top ten in downhill and combined. In 1936, Seelos also took part in the World Championships in Innsbruck . But he was only used there in the downhill and could not finish the race. He achieved further podium places in 1937 in the slalom of the Silberkugel race in Seefeld and in the slalom of Garmisch. Due to an injury, he rarely took part in races in the winter of 1938 and mainly worked as a teacher in his brother's ski school.

After the outbreak of World War II , Seelos was drafted into the Wehrmacht and was deployed on various fronts. He has been missing since April 18, 1945.
