Johann Stuchs

Johann Stuchs (or Stüchs) was a German book printer in the 16th century.

From 1513 to 1525 he is listed as a printer in Nuremberg documents, his name appears again in 1532, after which he operated a book trade.

Numerous writings by the humanists appear in his publishing program , above all he put himself at the service of the Reformation movement . For example, in 1522 he wrote Martin Luther's sermon Vom Eelichen Leben . printed. As with his Wittenberg printer Grunenberg, Luther was dissatisfied with the quality of Stuch's prints.
