Derbamont is a French commune in the Vosges department of the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ). It belongs to the Arrondissement Épinal and the municipal association Mirecourt Dompaire, founded in 2017 .

The municipality of Derbamont, with 111 inhabitants (January 1, 2017), is located on the Robert , a tributary of the Gitte , 18 kilometers northwest of Épinal .

history

In 1304 the place appears for the first time as Derbelmont in a document. The village was part of the Bailiwick of the Vosges, was later under the provost of Dompaire and in 1751 came to the Bailiwick of Darney . The residents were parish in the neighboring Circourt in the deanery Jorxey .
