Pont-sur-Madon is a commune in the Vosges department  in the Grand Est region of France (until 2015 Lorraine ).

geography

The Madon River flows through the parish . The  Pont-sur-Madon bridge  (German: Bridge over Madon ) gave the municipality its name. It is located about eight kilometers north of Mirecourt and is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Marainville-sur-Madon in the north, Xaronval in the east, Vomécourt-sur-Madon in the southeast, Ambacourt in the south and Diarville in the Meurthe-et-Moselle department in the west.

The medieval bridge over the Madon and the war memorial are worth seeing. Pont-sur-Madon has no church and no chapel. The church of Saint-Martin in Vomécourt-sur-Madon is responsible for the faithful - a Romanesque church building from the 11th century.
