Laveline-devant-Bruyères is a French commune with 610 inhabitants (January 1, 2017) in the Vosges department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ). It belongs to the Arrondissement Épinal and the municipality association Bruyères-Vallons des Vosges, founded in 2014 .
geography
The municipality of Laveline-devant-Bruyères is located between Épinal and Saint-Dié in the Vosges Mountains . In the municipality the Neuné flows into the Vologne , a tributary of the Moselle . The valley floor, which is around 450 meters above sea level, is lined with some striking mountains. The highest is the 706 m high Borémont in the Forêt communale de Bruyères in the north.
Neighboring municipalities of Laveline-devant-Bruyères are Bruyères in the north, La Chapelle-devant-Bruyères in the east, Aumontzey and Jussarupt in the south, Herpelmont in the south-west, Beauménil (point of contact) in the west and Champ-le-Duc in the north-west.

Economy and Infrastructure
There are still two farms in the community (horse and cattle breeding). In addition to small businesses (bakers, butchers, grocery stores, hairdressers, cafes), industry (woodworking) and craft (plumbing, heating and air conditioning, drywall) also play a role in Laveline. There is also a logistics company in the village.
Laveline-devant-Bruyères is a primary school location and has a post office.
By the municipality Laveline-devant-Bruyères direction from west to east into the secondary road D60 from Bruyères about Corcieux to Anould . This road is also the shortest connection from Épinal to the Col du Bonhomme in the Vosges . The D423 branching off in Laveline is part of the Lunéville - Rambervillers - Gérardmer connection . Laveline station is on the Arches – Saint-Dié line . Until the closure in 1988, the railway line to Gérardmer branched off in the village, and the TG2V (Train Gérardmer Vologne Vosges) initiative is committed to revitalizing it.
