Hydrology

At the confluence of the Neuné in the Vologne , the mean flow rate (MQ) is 2.18 m³ / s; the catchment area here covers 96.9 km². For the gauge Laveline-devant-Bruyères, the average annual runoff of the Neuné was calculated over a period of 25 years (1986-2010) . At this point there are already about 94 km² uphill and thus about 97% of the entire catchment area .

The highest water levels are measured in the winter months from December to March. The flow rate reached its maximum in March at 3.49 m³ / s. From April onwards, the discharge falls noticeably month after month and falls in August at 0.92 m³ / s to its lowest level, after which it increases again monotonously from month to month until December.

The monthly mean discharge (MQ) of the Neuné in m³ / s,
measured at the hydrological station Laveline-devant-Bruyères.
