Badménil-aux-Bois is a French commune with 154 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Vosges department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ). It belongs to the Arrondissement Épinal , the canton Bruyères and, since January 1, 2012, to the municipal association Agglomération d'Épinal .
geography
The community is located between the western foothills of the Vosges and the valley of the upper Moselle , about 20 kilometers north of Épinal . A large part of the district is forested ( Fôret de Rambervillers ).
Neighboring municipalities of Badménil-aux-Bois are Saint-Genest in the north, Moyemont in the northeast, Padoux in the east, Villoncourt and Bayecourt in the south, Domèvre-sur-Durbion in the southwest and Hadigny-les-Verrières in the west.
