Bayecourt is a French commune with 255 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Vosges department in Grand Est . It belongs to the Arrondissement Épinal , the canton Bruyères and the municipality association Agglomération d'Épinal .

geography

Bayecourt is located eleven kilometers northeast of Épinal in the mostly flat hinterland of the upper Moselle . The Moselle tributary Durbion flows through the municipality . The largest part of the municipality is used for agriculture; Forest occurs only in the northeast ( Bois des Épinettes ) and south ( Bois des Hayes ). Bayecourt's neighboring communities are Domèvre-sur-Durbion in the north-west and north, Badménil-aux-Bois in the north-east, Villoncourt in the east, Dignonville in the south and Girmont in the south-west and west.

Economy and Infrastructure

There are seven farms in the municipality (grain cultivation, dairy farming, cattle breeding).

The D 10 trunk road runs through Bayecourt from Châtel-sur-Moselle to Girecourt-sur-Durbion . In Capavenir Vosges , six kilometers west of Bayecourt, there is a connection to the motorway-like RN 57 from Nancy to Épinal .
