The Robert is a river in the Vosges the French Region Grand Est . It drains over the Gitte , the Madon and finally the Moselle to the Rhine .

The Robert rises in the municipal area of Circourt in the hillside forest south of the village, not far from the road entering the valley from Hennecourt and accompanying it along its entire length on a hill from the mineral spring Source minérale des Saumeurs . It flows in an arc that extends far to the north with its northernmost point at around Vaubexy as a whole to the west. After a little over 11 kilometers through its soon-to-be-open valley, which is accompanied by forests on the edge of the hills, it flows into the lower Gitte in the municipality of Racécourt shortly before the village from the right and finally northeast.
