Johann Wachter (politician, 1888)

Johann Wachter (born November 5, 1888 in Eisenberg an der Pinka ; † May 7, 1957 there ) was an Austrian farmer and politician. From 1934 to 1938 he was a member of the Burgenland Landtag .

Life

Wachter was born as the son of the farmer Johann Wachter from Eisenberg. He attended elementary school and subsequently worked as a wine merchant and farmer. Between 1927 and 1938, Wachter held the function of a councilor of the Burgenland Chamber of Agriculture and in 1936 was district farmer leader. In 1937 Wachter was appointed to the economic council.

Wachter was married.

Wachter was mayor of Eisenberg an der Pinka between 1934 and 1938 . Wachter was a member of the state parliament between November 11, 1934 and March 12, 1938, with Wachter representing the state of "agriculture and forestry".
