Johann Zauner

Johann Zauner (born November 4, 1929 in Ennsdorf , † December 12, 1999 ibid) was an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ) and municipal official. From 1972 to 1988 he was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament .

Life

After attending primary and secondary school, Zauner worked as an agricultural worker and served in the Reich Labor Service in 1945 . After the Second World War he attended the agricultural college in Gießhübl ( Amstetten ), and in 1947 he entered the community service. In 1955 he took over the office of vice mayor and from 1960 to 1998 he held the office of mayor. He also represented the SPÖ between November 16, 1972 and November 17, 1988 in the Lower Austrian state parliament.
