Johann von Keppel

Johann von Keppel (* in the 16th century; † August 10, 1586 ) was canon in Münster .

Life

Johann von Keppel was born as the son of Johann von Keppel zu Horst and his wife Elisabeth von Münster. In 1578 he was accepted into the cathedral chapter of Münster and emancipated two years later. Johann studied at the Sorbonne in Paris and submitted a certificate of study on July 12, 1580. On August 5, 1586, shortly before his death, Johann wanted to swap his prebend with Hermann von Keppel, canon in Paderborn .
