Johann von Kerssenbrock (* in the 15th century; † in the 16th century) was canon in Münster .

Life

Johann von Kerssenbrock came from the East Westphalian noble family Kerssenbrock , which at the end of the 15th century divided into a Protestant and a Catholic branch. The owners of Brincke Castle were Catholic. Their family members held high spiritual offices in the Hochstifte Paderborn , Osnabrück and Hildesheim . Johann was the son of Ludeke von Kerssenbrock zu Brincke and his wife Margarethe Stael. On September 9, 1528 he received a cathedral canonical in Münster . The sources do not provide any information about his further life.
