Johanna Almgren (born March 22, 1984 in Borås ) is a Swedish football player . The midfielder has been playing for Kopparbergs / Göteborg FC in Damallsvenskan since 2005 .

Johanna Almgren came to Göteborg FC through Borås GIF , Byttorps IF and Bälinge IF . She made her debut in the Swedish national soccer team on September 24, 2005 in a 6-0 victory over Belarus . The midfielder had previously played through other Swedish youth teams such as the U-17, U19 and U21 teams. Almgren participated in the 2008 Olympics in London and the 2012 Games in London in part, finishing sixth and seventh.
