Johannes Beumer

Johannes Beumer (born October 12, 1901 in Cologne , † June 23, 1989 in Münster ) was a German theologian.

Life

In 1921 he joined the Society of Jesus in 's-Heerenberg . He studied at the Ignatius College in Valkenburg aan de Geul . After priestly ordination on 27 August 1931, the tertianship in Muenster doctorate he became a doctor of theology at the Pontifical Gregorian University . From 1934 he taught fundamental theology in Valkenburg, from 1946 to 1948 in Büren and since 1948 at the Sankt Georgen University of Applied Sciences .
