Johannes Bockholt (politician)
Johannes Bockholt (born June 23, 1892 in Dülmen ; † July 26, 1972 there ) was a German local politician and honorary district administrator ( CDU ).
Life and work
After attending school, he completed an apprenticeship in banking and from 1926 to 1961 worked for a savings and loan fund as an auctioneer and finally as manager. Bockholt was married and had one child.
Member of the district assembly of the district Coesfeld he was from 1946 From December 5, 1952 to April 7, 1961, to 1961. Bockholt continuously district of the circle. He was also a member of the city council of Dülmen from 1946 to 1961 . He was also a member of various committees of the district council of North Rhine-Westphalia.

On June 24, 1957, Bockholt was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit 1st Class.
