Johannes Fabri (born March 22, 1571 in Dußlingen , † August 9, 1620 in Tübingen ) was a German doctor and professor at the University of Tübingen .
Life
Johannes Fabri enrolled at the University of Tübingen in 1587 and received his Bacc degree in 1588 . art. There he studied medicine and received his doctorate in 1593 for Dr. med. After 1593 he was court doctor in Durlach and physician in Pforzheim and Landau . In 1599 he returned to Tübingen and started working as a doctor. Between 1603 and 1620 he was a full professor of medicine in Tübingen. In 1606 he was also a councilor and personal physician. In 1610/11 and 1616/17 he was rector of the University of Tübingen. His portrait hangs in the professors' gallery in Tübingen .
