Johannes Huppertz
Johannes Huppertz (born July 20, 1964 in Cologne ) is a German music producer , songwriter and multi-instrumentalist . He also works under the pseudonyms Area 42 and Newton . He has been working as a TV composer since 2014.
Life
Johannes Huppertz grew up in Cologne and trained himself to become a multi-instrumentalist. For several years he was the singer-songwriter and frontman of the group Comix Strip . He worked u. a. with producer Wolfgang Voigt and Peter Brings from the Cologne dialect band Brings.
In 2008 Johannes Huppertz released a long player of the same name for the first time under the pseudonym Area 42 . In 2009 he released the album Roadmovie under the pseudonym Newton on Sashimi Records . In the same year, Huppertz released an album under his real name for the first time. Eternal Change appeared on the well-known label Mole Listening Pearls . Breath Away was released as a single . The album Café International followed in 2010 and the digital publication Cologne Citywaves under his pseudonym Newton . In 2011 Huppertz released the remix album 24/7 Chill Jazz , on which he put together some of his favorite songs under the motto Chillout 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In 2011, Huppertz released a long player called After love is gone under his pseudonym Newton .
In the past few years, Huppertz has published or had hundreds of sound compositions published, well over 1,000 publications on the iTunes and amazon download portals alone . He is represented internationally on numerous lounge, downbeat and chillout compilations. In his compositions he tries to process tradition, zeitgeist and personal emotions. Johannes Huppertz is a big fan of Andy Warhol and is enthusiastic about Pop Art .
