Lemongrassmusic is a label for electronic music from Espelkamp , Germany . It was founded in 2005 by Roland Voss and his brother Daniel Voss. The label specializes in lounge , ambient , trance , deep house , NuJazz and trip-hop .

history

Roland and Daniel Voss founded the label in 2005 initially as an independent platform for the publication of their various music projects such as Lemongrass , Weathertunes , Five Seasons and Jasmon . On a tour in Japan they met many inspiring artists who played innovative music and were unknown in Europe. This gave rise to the idea of ​​presenting these artists to the public at a compilation. In 2006 Lemongrass Garden Volume 01 was the first compilation of the label. In the next few years numerous other compilations followed, including a. Klassik Lounge Nightflight Vol. 03 and Klassik Lounge Nightflight Vol. 04 on behalf of the German radio station Klassik Radio . New international artists were signed and produced. Today lemongrass music is an important player on the international electronic music scene.
