John II Crescentius
Johannes II. Crescentius († May 18, 1012 in Rome ), sometimes also Johannes Crescentius (not to be confused with his great-grandfather of the same name) or Crescentius III. called, was Roman Patricius at the time of the Roman-German Emperor Heinrich II.
He was the son of Crescentius I Nomentanus and nephew of John I Crescentius . John II came from the Crescentier dynasty that ruled Rome at the end of the 10th and beginning of the 11th centuries . He brought after the death of Emperor Otto III. and Pope Silvester II. the papacy under his control.
