Johannes Rothenaicher

Johannes Rothenaicher (* 1986 in Munich ) is a German composer of film music .

Life

Rothenaicher grew up in Erding , where his father is an organist and church musician. As a child he learned the piano and French horn . From the 9th grade onwards, he attended the Munich Academy of Music for young horn studies. He studied at the University of Music and Theater in Munich , where he obtained his diploma in “Composition for Film and Television”. In addition to engagements as a keyboardist in various bands, he then played with the Babelsberg Film Orchestra and the Munich Symphony Orchestra .

Today Rothenaicher works as a freelance musician and composer of cinema and television films as well as contemporary chamber music. In 2016 his Korbinian - The Musical was premiered in Freising .

Rothenaicher lives in Erding.
