Johannes Teich (born June 30, 1904 in Dresden , † October 1, 1975 in Hildesheim ) was a German politician ( KPD ). In 1946 he was a member of the appointed Hanover State Parliament .

Teich attended primary school in Dresden from 1910 to 1918 and then did an apprenticeship as a precision mechanic until 1922. From 1920 he was a member of the German Metalworkers' Association . In 1921 he joined the Socialist Youth Workers . From 1921 to 1925 he attended adult education courses in economics. Teich became a member of the SPD in 1922. In October 1923 he resigned from social democratic organizations and joined the Communist Party of Germany as part of the Reich execution against Saxony. For professional reasons he moved to Hanover in 1925. He became party secretary in 1929 and was editor of the anti-fascist weekly Volks-Echo from 1932 to 1933 . He was arrested in 1933. Until 1936 he had to do emergency works in the canal and road construction. From 1936 to 1940 he worked as a mechanic and trained as a technician. In 1940 he moved to Hildesheim and worked there as a fixture construction technician until 1945. In 1945 he became chairman of the works council of the Trillke works in Hildesheim. In 1946 he was appointed a member of the Hanoverian Landtag.
