Johannes Woyke

Johannes Woyke (born January 5, 1968 ) is a Protestant theologian .

Life and work

Before studying in Tübingen , Vancouver and Heidelberg , he gained intercultural experience from 1987 to 1990 in the so -called Other Service Abroad in the Federated States of Micronesia . He completed his studies abroad at Regent College in 1997 with a Master of Christian Studies . From 2003 to 2011 he was a research assistant at the chair for didactics of Protestant theology at the University of Siegen a . a. with practical school activity. It was founded in 2004 by the Eberhard Karls University Tübingen with a dissertation on the New Testament Paul's engagement with other gods doctorate . In the winter semester 2006/2007 he was the professor for Protestant religious education at the University of Kassel . Since 2011 he has been teaching as a professor for biblical theology and religious education at the Europa-Universität Flensburg .

His research areas are exegesis and biblical didactics (psalms, gospels, Paul), child / youth theology, interreligious learning, Bonhoeffer's biblical hermeneutics and biblical theology.
