The Church of St. John the Baptist and St. John the Evangelist (Polish: Kościół św. Jana Chrzciciela i św. Jana Ewangelisty ) in Kraków is a Catholic church at ul. Jana 7, in the northern part of Kraków's Old Town .

history

The church was founded as a Romanesque collegiate church by Piotr Włostowic around 1100 . Around 1300 it was a branch church of the Krakow Marienkirche before it had its own parish from 1325. In the 17th century the church was redesigned in Baroque style and rededicated in 1659. 1715, the church was the presents gutters passed and again rebuilt from 1715 to 1723 - this time by Kacper Bażanka .
