Johannis Bridge

The Johannisbrücke is a bridge in the district town of Tirschenreuth in the Upper Palatinate .

The bridge was commissioned by the Waldsassen monastery in the 18th century and crosses the Mühlbach, a tributary of the Waldnaab . The building material are granite blocks. Today the busy Dammstraße crosses the bridge.

On the two yokes are the statues of St. John Nepomuk and St. Helena . Probably two more statues were planned on the other two stone pedestals.
