John Archibald Venn

John Archibald Venn ( November 10, 1883 - March 15, 1958 ) was a British economist . He was President of Queens' College from 1932 until his death . He was also from 1941 to 1943 Vice Chancellor of Cambridge University and archivist of this university. He was also the author of the reference work Alumni Cantabrigienses together with his father John Venn .

Venn came from a long line of Anglican clergy. He was educated at Eastbourne College and Trinity College .
