John Beers

John Beers (born August 17, 1952 in the Netherlands ) is a former Canadian high jumper .

In 1972 he was sixth at the Olympic Games in Munich and fourth at the British Commonwealth Games in Christchurch in 1974 .

At the Pan American Games in Mexico City in 1975 , he won silver.

From 1972 to 1974 he was Canadian champion three times in a row. He set his personal best of 2.24 m on September 9, 1973 in Burnaby .
