John Brennan (athlete)
John Brennan ( John Joseph Brennan ; born July 17, 1879 in Ireland , † February 21, 1964 in West Allis ) was an American long and triple jumper .
At the Olympic Games in London in 1908 , he was fifth in the long jump with his personal best of 6.86 m. In the triple jump he was eighth with 13.59 m. His best performance in this discipline he had set up with 13.84 m in the US Olympic qualification on May 29, 1908 in Chicago .
John Brennan started out for Marquette University .
