John Budd Phear

Sir John Budd Phear ( February 9, 1825 - April 7, 1905 ) was a British colonial administrator and anthropologist.

He was one of the judges in the High Court of Judicature at Fort William , Bengal .

His main work The Aryan Village in India and Ceylon ("The Aryan Village in India and Ceylon") was published in 1880 in London.

His works were excerpted by the late Karl Marx .
