John Fiddler (born September 25, 1947 ) is a British rock musician. He was a member of the Medicine Head duo - the other member was Peter Hope-Evans .

The two had known each other since school and played at parties early on. Fiddler sang, played the guitar and played a bass drum with his foot, Hope-Evans played the harmonica or mouth organ . In 1970 her first single, His Guiding Hand, was released . 1973 One & One Is One was their biggest hit.

After Medicine Head disbanded in 1976, Fiddler "reinvented" himself. Always appearing as a hippie - long hair, wild mustache - he suddenly appeared glamorous as the front man of the British Lions , the follow-up band to Mott the Hoople .

In the early 1980s, the former Yardbirds reunited under Fiddler and called themselves Box of Frogs . Fiddler wrote all of the songs. But the project ended after two albums, Box of Frogs and Strange Land .

In the early 1990s, Fiddler reappeared solo. In 1995 the album Return of the Buffalo was released . Fiddler temporarily lived in Phoenix , USA , but returned to England, where he ran his own studio.
