John Gordon, 3rd Viscount of Kenmure
John Gordon, 3rd Viscount of Kenmure ( October 1620 - October 1643 ) was a Scottish nobleman .
He came from a branch line of Clan Gordon and was the eldest son of James Gordon, Laird of Barncrosh and Buittle in Kirkcudbrightshire , from his marriage to Margaret Vans.
He was still a minor when he inherited his father in May 1633 and his second nephew John Gordon, 2nd Viscount of Kenmure , as 3rd Viscount of Kenmure in August 1639 . In October 1641 he reached the age of majority, but died only two years later unmarried and childless. His title and his lands then fell to his next younger brother Robert Gordon as 4th Viscount.
