John Hall (politician, 1729)

John Hall (born November 27, 1729 in Annapolis , Province of Maryland , †  March 8, 1797 ibid) was an American politician . In 1775 he was a delegate for Maryland to the Continental Congress .

Career

John Hall attended public schools in his home country. After a subsequent law degree and his admission as a lawyer, he began to work in Annapolis in this profession. In the 1770s he joined the revolutionary movement. He became a member of the Maryland Security Committee. He was also a member of the constituent convention of that state. In 1775 he represented Maryland in the Continental Congress. In the following years, John Hall practiced as a lawyer again. He died on March 8, 1797 on his plantation The Vineyard near Annapolis.
