John Hawkins (athlete)
John Hawkins (born June 8, 1949 in Kelowna ) is a retired Canadian high jumper .
At the British Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh in 1970 , he won silver.
In 1971 he was fourth at the Pan American Games in Cali and in 1972 ninth at the Olympic Games in Munich . In 1973 he took bronze at the Universiade , and in 1974 he was fifth at the British Commonwealth Games in Christchurch .
He set his personal best of 2.18 m on June 27, 1973 in Toronto .
