John Huston (born June 1, 1961 in Mt. Vernon , Illinois ) is an American professional golfer with the PGA TOUR .
In the course of his career he has won seven tournaments on the PGA TOUR and finished in more than eighty in the top ten. In 1998, Huston improved a 53-year-old record for 72 holes in his victory at the United Airlines Hawaiian Open with a score of 28 under par.
Well-known North American golf commentator Gary McCord calls him by far the fastest player on the tour.
