John Jeffcoat

John Jeffcoat is an American director . He achieved particular fame in 2006 for his film Outsourced - On Detours to Happiness , which was continued as a television series from 2010 to 2011. In addition to his work as a director, he also appeared as a film producer , screenwriter , film editor , actor and cameraman .

Life

Jeffcoat grew up in New York City and graduated from Denison University in Ohio in 1994 . He then settled in Seattle and began working in the film industry. He made his directorial debut in 1999 with the documentary Bingo! The Documentary , which gives an insight into the very popular bingo game in the United States .

In 2006 he shot the comedy Outsourced - On Detour Fortunately, his first feature film as a director, from which he subsequently adapted and produced the television series of the same name, which ran on NBC from 2010 , but was canceled after only one season.

In 2014 Jeffcoat directed the feature film Big in Japan , in which he also made a brief appearance as an actor for the first time.
