action

The orphan Max Brinkley and his friends Scott Sanders and Jessica Taylor stick together like bad luck and brimstone. They have all sorts of pranks in mind with their teachers and everyone else around them. Max's uncle Rick, who raises him and is the owner of Brinkley Technologies, which develops the latest technologies for the secret services, is helpful. So the three children always have the latest inventions available.

What they don't know is that they are already secretly observing a secret office and admire their skills. In school everything is interesting except the school material. Headmaster Henderson has the three of them firmly in view. Above all, he has to repeatedly pronounce punishments. One of them is the interesting job of helping Game Inc. with the development of new video games.

There she got hold of a DVD that reveals the exact location of a stolen, top-secret FBI microchip. At night they break into the warehouse and actually get hold of the chip. During the escape, however, they are discovered and tied up by the criminal Daniels and his accomplice Jeff. The children alert the police, who can arrest both criminals. Max, Scott and Jessica get an offer from the secret office. They are designed to perform undercover missions for which adult agents are not suitable.

During the final school ball, at which Max dances overjoyed with his beloved Nicole, Uncle Rick picks up all four of them by helicopter and hands Max a letter of thanks from the US President.

criticism

"Largely successful adventure fun about a conspiratorial group of children, reminiscent of" Spy Kids "and a little fooled about" Mission: Impossible "."

“A lively three-cheesy boy and his best friends, selected according to the outsider quota principle, turn long noses to adult authority figures and comically exaggerated cliché crooks, know how to handle futuristic gadgets, and have harmless espionage adventures in this child-friendly comedy answer to adult agent thrillers à la" Mission Impossible ". The budget does not allow big leaps, but an elegant look, pretty backdrops and charmingly drawn characters are provided. "
