John K. McNulty

John Kent McNulty (born in Buffalo in 1934 ) is an American law scholar.

Life

John K. McNulty studied at Swarthmore College and then law under Friedrich Kessler at Yale Law School, among others . There he was editor of the Yale Law Journal . McNulty worked 1959/60 as an assistant to Judge Hugo Black at the Supreme Court of the United States . He was admitted to the Ohio State Bar in 1961 and before the United States Supreme Court in 1964.

McNulty became a lecturer at the University of California, Berkeley in 1964 , became a professor in 1991, and retired in 2002. In 1976 he received a Guggenheim Fellowship . McNulty specialized in tax law and international tax law . He is a member of the American Law Institute and the Tax Law Group in the American Bar Association .
