John Klotz was a Belgian sailor .

John Klotz took part twice in the Olympic Games in the 6-meter class. At the Olympic Games in Antwerp in 1920 he won the silver medal according to the International Rule of 1919. He was next to Charles Van Den Bussche crew member of the Tan-Fe-Pah skippered Léon Huybrechts , with the Norwegian boat Jo of Andreas Brecke had only one competitor. In three races, the Jo , who could not take part in the first race due to damage to the mast, won the second and third races and thus took first place. Four years later in Paris , Klotz finished fifth with the Ciss , again skippered by Léon Huybrechts.
