Charles Félix François Marie Joseph Van Den Bussche (born October 18, 1876 in Antwerp , † October 9, 1958 ) was a Belgian sailor .
successes
Charles Van Den Bussche took part in the 6-meter class at the 1920 Olympic Games in Antwerp and won the silver medal in this according to the International Rule of 1919. He was next to John Klotz crew member of the Tan-Fe-Pah skippered Léon Huybrechts , in the Norwegian boat Jo of Andreas Brecke had only one competitor. In three races, the Jo , who could not take part in the first race due to damage to the mast, won the second and third races and thus took first place.
Van Den Bussche was a wine merchant. In 1922 his company Vanden Bussche & Fils bought the Château Saint-Pierre in Bordeaux including its winery.
