John Mabuku

John Mabuku (* in the 20th century ; † July 13, 2008 in Botswana ) was a Namibian governor of the Caprivi region (now the Zambezi) , Caprivi autonomist and member of the Democratic Gymnastics Alliance (DTA). After the unsuccessful uprising in 1998, he fled to Botswana with Mishake Muyongo .

In Botswana he continued his work as a leading member of the United Democratic Party - Caprivi Freedom in the Kagisong refugee camp . He helped Muyongo, who was in Denmark at the time .

On July 13th, 2008 John Mabuku died after a long and serious illness.
