John Montgomerie Hunt

John Montgomerie Hunt (born April 17, 1897 in Bardsea in Lancashire, † March 31, 1980 ) was a British Army officer.

Life

John Montgomerie Hunt was a son of Thomas Charles Hunt and his wife Mabel Louise.

In 1925 he, who was called Jack Hunt, married Elizabeth Yates (born May 2, 1902, † March 7, 2003). The two had two sons. The younger son named Nicholas Hunt became an admiral.

From April 3, 1942 to April 16, 1943, he was in the rank of Colonel in the Brigadier of the 54th Indian Brigade, which was part of the Indian Army as part of the British Armed Forces.

He is buried in Watts Cemetery in Compton, Surrey.
