Nicholas Hunt
Sir Nicholas John Streynsham Hunt GCB LVO DL (born November 7, 1930 in Hawarden , Flintshire , Wales , † October 25, 2013 in Shere , Surrey , England ) was a British naval officer, most recently in the rank of admiral .
Life
From 1985 until his retirement in 1987 he was the Commander-in-Chief Fleet of the Royal Navy , Commander-in-Chief of the British Navy.
On December 31, 1984 he was knighted as Knight Commander of the Order of the Bath , on December 31, 1986 he was elevated to the Knight Grand Cross of the same order.

His father was the British Army officer John Montgomerie Hunt . His son is the British Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt .
