John Riiber (born May 5, 1965 ) is a former Norwegian Nordic combined skier .

Riiber took part in the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships in 1984 in Trondheim . Here he won the silver medal both in the individual on February 3, 1984 and in a team with Trond-Arne Bredesen and Geir Andersen two days later. A year later, at the Junior World Ski Championships in 1985 , he repeated winning the silver medal in the team competition together with Thomas Selbekk and Bredesen. He had already achieved his first points in the Nordic Combined World Cup on December 15, 1984 in Planica , when he finished seventh in a Gundersen competition on the normal hill with a subsequent cross-country distance of 15 kilometers. His best result in this competition series he achieved on January 5, 1985 in Schonach with fourth place. His best placement in the overall World Cup was a 17th place from the 1984/85 season . At national level, Riiber was three times Norwegian champion : 1983 , 1985 and 1986 he won each team competition.
