John Smith (architect)
John Smith (1781 - July 22, 1852 ) was a Scottish architect . He was the urban architect of Aberdeen and together with his colleague Archibald Simpson he was responsible for the design of the Granite City in Aberdeen. He also redesigned many old and well-known properties and castles.
