John TC & the Troubleshooters is a country and rock-n-roll band from Austria .
history
The band was founded in autumn 2008 by John TC and Harald Abschrader . The project started on the basis of cover songs, and the repertoire has since included titles by many well-known country songwriters and performers. For studio recordings, some titles were written by myself. In 2010, John TC & the Troubleshooters performed their own composition Country Life on a special broadcast on Radio FRO.
In March 2013 the band released their first album with the CD " Country Life ". The single Country Life received the Austrian “Song of the Year” award.
In autumn 2015 the CD " John's Coffee" was released , a special EP edition with five songs, which was brought onto the market together with its own coffee brand, John's Coffee. Some of the recordings for this production took place in Nashville, with guitarist Brent Mason , one of the most famous studio musicians of our time, working on two tracks .
Since March 2015 the band has also been on tour with the American Dinner Show, a unique show program with dinner variety tea . This leads through a musical journey through time, during which Nashville and Bakersfield sounds , New Country and traditionals can be heard.
In October 2016 the CD " American Music " was released, for which John TC and his band again worked with some well-known session musicians from Nashville and the Clueskim production team.
In mid-October 2017 the Christmas album " John TC's Christmas Party ", partly produced in Nashville, followed - on this CD you can hear John TC & the Troubleshooters as musical guests as well as Ty Tender, the Maddow Hill Band, Alina D. and Birgit Koch .
