John Henry Thomas Jr. (* 6. March 1964 in Cincinnati , Ohio ) is a former American American football poker players. He played one season in the position of tackles for the New York Jets in the National Football League (NFL).

NFL

After Thomas was not selected in the 1987 NFL Draft , he was signed by the New York Jets on August 20, 1987 . His first appearance was on the 3rd match day, in the 24:38 defeat against the Dallas Cowboys . On October 11, 1987 Thomas had his only away assignment in the 6-0 defeat by the Indianapolis Colts . It was last used on October 18, 1987, when the Jets beat the Miami Dolphins with 38:31. On October 26, 1987, he was released from the Jets.
