John Wastell

John Wastell († around 1515 ) was an English architect during the Renaissance .

Wastell is likely to have built several important churches, all of which were kept in the late Gothic style typical of King Henry VII's reign . These include the Abbey of Bury St Edmunds , King's College Chapel in Cambridge (1512-1575) and the Angel Tower and Bell Harry Tower of Canterbury Cathedral . The Peterborough Cathedral (1500) is attributed to him.
