Johnny Maestro
Johnny Maestro (born May 7, 1939 in Franklin as John Peter Mastrangelo , † March 24, 2010 in Cape Coral ) was an American singer.
Life
Johnny Maestro was the singer of the American doo-wop vocal group The Crests in the 1950s . From 1960 he appeared as a soloist and had two hits in the upper echelons of the US charts. In 1968 he formed the band Brooklyn Bridge , with whom he recorded the song The Worst That Could Happend . In December 1968 he performed this song on the Ed Sullivan Show .
Johnny Maestro died of cancer on March 24, 2010 at the age of 70 .
