Johnny Wilson (boxer)
Johnny Wilson (* 23. March 1893 in Harlem , USA; † 8. December 1985 in Boston , USA) was an American boxer in the middleweight division .
Professional career
The southpaw made his debut in 1912 and lost his first two fights. On May 6, 1920 he competed against Mike O'Dowd for the universal world champion belt and defeated him over 12 round by a unanimous judge decision. He lost this title to Harry Greb at the end of August 1923 by unanimous decision over 15 rounds.
In 1926, Johnny Wilson ended his career.
